This project gave both the front and back gardens a fresh start, replacing underused lawn and overgrown spaces with functional, low-water landscapes designed for everyday living. In front, a mix of California natives and other drought-tolerant plants creates layers of color, texture, and habitat while giving the home a more welcoming presence. In back, a new deck and gravel gathering area create space to relax and entertain, surrounded by new planting beds that will fill in and soften the garden over time. Together, the two spaces create a more usable, water-wise landscape with room for both people and wildlife.
Testimonial:
"We had a boring backyard that we wanted to do something with, but had no idea where to start. Wes met with us, listened to our vision and half-ideas, and created a design of native plants with a natural feel that we loved. It has been fantastic seeing the backyard change and grow over the years and turn from an unused space into something we enjoy everyday."
